Meet Ellen - our Physiotherapist
I’m Ellen — a physiotherapist, rider, mum, and long-time South West local who believes that movement, connection and confidence can change lives.
With over 20 years of experience in paediatrics and disability physiotherapy in rural and remote communities, I’ve supported children, families and adults across our region to move, participate and thrive in their everyday worlds.
Every Stride Physiotherapy brings my two worlds together — blending disability expertise, a fun and engaging therapist with a strong foundation in biomechanics with an understanding of the dynamic movement of the horse. This allows me to support people of all abilities, including para-equestrian and developing riders.
My approach is grounded, kind, inclusive and neuroaffirming. I meet people where they are, working in creative, thoughtful ways that support comfort, confidence and progress.
Whether I’m helping a young child build motor skills or supporting a rider to feel balanced and safe in the saddle, I focus on making therapy meaningful and human.
Outside of work, you’ll find me at our small hobby farm with my horses, kids and dogs, enjoying quiet paddock time with pleanty of mud under my boots - enjoying the rhythm of a rural life.

Equestrian Physiotherapy
Balancing riders for harmony and performance
Equestrian physiotherapy for riders with disabilities is a specialised service supporting your body, your movement and your partnership with your horse.
I bring together disability physiotherapy expertise and years of equestrian experience to help you understand your body, your biomechanics and how they interact with the dynamic movement of the horse.
My focus is on creating balanced, strong and effective riders — enhancing performance, comfort and the welfare of the horse. I work with para-equestrian riders and young or developing riders who want to ride with confidence, harmony and connection.
